Shamoun, upon realising that a response was forthcoming, challenged me to call ABN with my views, I informed him I will do better. I believe producing a video presentation and a detailed article responding to Shamoun's claims is better than calling ABN and only have a few moments to outline Shamoun's errors.

A link to a response article which gives further inofrmation (this presentation is based on this article):

The question still remains; who is "the Prophet"? Is it Muhammed? These are questions for the individual to ponder upon objectively, meither myself nor Shamoun or anybody else for that matter can do this pondering for the individual. I have simply attempted (in the article) to put across the actualities of the passage in John 1 so the individual can be freed from Shamoun's suggestions. Shamoun merely dealt in unfounded views and interpolation of these views into the text.

The question still remains; who is the Prophet? Of course the reader is left to go away and independently decide who the Prophet. was It is not for myself, Shamoun or anybody else for that matter to decide for the reader we can merely put the facts out rather than opinion; that is what I have attempted to do in the course of this paper. I do feel Shamoun lent heavily on supposition and interpolating his own views into Biblical text but if anybody feels I have inadequately dealt with this subject or made a mistake then do contact me and let me know. Thank you

  • What was the point of that picture early on which I assume as you were speaking about Sam Shamoun, you are intending for your audience to assume that it was Sam Shamoun? The man in this picture is standing in an aggressive stance so you also intended for your audience to get the impression Sam Shamoun is aggressive.

Having watched Sam quite a lot now I don't believe that the man in that picture is actually Sam. Nor is that picture clear enough for you to use it in this way

    Shame on you

  • The image of Shamoun does not mean he is aggressive; to me it appears he is larking about with friends, it was not intended to make him look in any planned fashion

The real shame lies in you feeling so uptitght and suspecting of an innocent action

Also, rather than focussing on the image why not focus on the message

    Nevertheless, thanks for your comment

  • FYI:

Shamoun has not contacted me with a response...I will leave you to interpret that

  • Yahya, I have responded to you at the Answering Muslims blog. Furthermore, in a future show of the ABN, one after you wrote your "refutation," Sam responded to some of your points since a caller asked about them. That broadcast will be put up eventaully as well.

  • Ousias...thanks.

I have just seen Shamoun's response and approved it as a video response. However I have responded to it via another video.

Ousias, could you tell me what username (handle) you respnded under as I would like to incorporate a written to you in the description box (more info) of my latest response video.

    Thanks

  • Sam just refuted this argument on ABN. It seems like he is going to "take you to school" after the show...his words...

  • OK...

but if Shamoun already refuted my points (which I believe to be strong points) then why in the world does he need to do it again after the show (by taking me to school)?

It seems Shamoun has notoffered a sound refutation, ifhe had then there would be no need to come back at me again.

Also, if he does show me to be wrong then I will accept it as I try to be intelectually honest...so no skin off my nose, howevre would Shamoun adopt the same attitude as myself?

  • The Israelites saw many miracles but the turn back from faith. The Koran is a miracle and we won't turn back to unbelief.

  • PRAISE GOD...

  • Great talk brother , Allah akbur .

  • Where is it written in the Quran that Mohammad performed miracles especially supplying bread for the people?

  • If anyone has heard what Sam Shamoun has said in the past against answering-Christianity team in some debates, he has verbally abused the muslims, islam etc with his foul mouth yet his own Bible says:

    Ephesians 4:29:

"Do NOT let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths."

So, that shows what type of a Christian Shamoun really is.

  • Yahya,

This is Semper Paratus (aka Anthony Rogers).
