Birthday Loop

Made with Algorithmic Arts ArtWonkv4, and the Modartt Pianoteq3 virtual piano, this is a short video piece that I played on my laptop in my studio while people came over for my 60th birthday party. The piece is made with the winning numbers from the New South Wales $5 lottery for Oct 6, 2009. I downloaded the results, converted them into binary form with ArtWonk's DataBin utility, and scaled the numbers to produce the visual and sound patterns you hear and see. Hope you find it as pleasant as we did!
