The troops returning home from Nam were mistreated terribly; the picture is still so very clear and the wounds run so deep. Hopefully, our troops will meet with a more humane welcome and their many needs will be met, as those wiho served in Viet Nam were not; thet were actually scorned and were spat upon. Such shameful treatment for those who suffered so much. .
All of us that served during Viet-Nam were treated like something from a horror movie. I can only Hope that my Comrades In arms coming home Now don't get that Re-Run movie from these so called Occupy Wall Streeters. Because they are the spawn of parents from that era! HooRah! Semper Fi and I'll be here to greet you with opens arms from one comrade to another. Keep this song alive!
I saw my contemporaries spat on when they returned from Vietnam! How wonderful that in just some way, we are truly welcoming home their sons and daughters. It's long overdue, and in a big way makes of for what their fathers and mother suffered on THEIR return. Guess we've finally learned that lesson. They protect our Freedom- so Welcome Home is the very least we can say. "Thank You for your Service", too! THANK YOU FOR MY FREEDOM!
Not to be rude, but this is the worst song I've ever heard. Period. If you want to support the troops, cool. I just think this guy would be better off packing care-packages and penning letters than writing songs for them. Awful. What a waste of guitar strings.
Yo! Rick, Amazing. I love it my Friend. The song is as GREAT as the first time I heard it at your place. The video is very cool too. Love to you and the little woman.
Beautiful song by a beautiful soul - @ Miggy or whatever your name is - there's always one douche :D
