Dr. Charles Dinarello, Chief Scientific Officer of OmniBio, is a co-author of an article that is now available in the journal Blood, which is the premier journal of the American Society of Hematology. The paper describes the use of Alpha 1 antitrypsin (AAT) to treat mice with a lethal form of rejection of bone marrow transplantation. Mice survive the crisis with AAT treatment.
OmniBio Pharmaceutical, Inc. (OTCBB: OMBP) is a clinical‐stage bio pharmaceutical company that has licensed potential new therapies currently in development for an existing FDA approved drug -- Alpha‐1 Antitrypsin (AAT). OmniBio believes that the market opportunity for the use of AAT in treating Type 1 diabetes may exceed the current market.
