And to make matters worse the government mandates that migrant workers without proper documentation are beaten (caned); which of course is contrary to international standards against human rights abuse. Gvoernments that treat prisoners in this inhumane manner need to be exposed.

Workers should not be beaten. This is not acceptable.The owners should be investigated and the workers should be send home or they should be given work and given food and accomodation by the employers. The wages are seperate and should be according to the hours they work.
