Okay so most people have make a Dasey video to this song about Derek choosing someone else over Casey, but i always thought this:

Derek and Casey are dating. Derek told Casey when they first dated not to change for him b/c that's what he loved about her. Then Derek starts pointing out her flaws, so she corrects them for him. Derek was wanting her to be more perfect, to be a little more slutty and so on. She wanted to have an open relationship with Derek, but he wanted to keep it hidden. She is tired of pretending to hate him, but eventually it isn't pretending.

You need to understand that the person who Casey was loosing to was herself, the girl Derek wanted her to be, which is not who she really is.

The girl who was tearing them apart is the girl Derek wants Casey to be.

And everything Derek wants he to be is everything she is not.

Okay, i really love this song, just follow the lyrics. I am sorry for ALL of this post Dasey, it's just the songs i've been listening too.

Ok, ik you made this way before, but isnt this sort of what happened between Casey and Max in Alergy Season? Max wanted Casey to be his perfect follow you everywhere girlfriend when he "fell in love" with the old Casey. Then Casey loses herself, and him....funny how similar it is...at least in my opinon...
