I will admit before I heard Ron Paul I was a hard core liberal who was a big supporter of Barack Obama. After hearing Ron Paul I support anyone who supports freedom, liberty, peace and SMALLER GOVERNMENT! Am I a flip flopper because I went to a hard core liberal to a hard core libertarian? I don't think so, and I believe that Bob Barr's conversion is legit as well. Time to stop bashing him on his past legislation in the house, and look at what he has done and and promoted since leaving the Republican Party, even before joining the Libertarian Party.
Ron Paul 2008
Bob Barr 2008
There is more information (It can be checked and proved right or wrong) on Youtube than you will find on any of the crappy media stations here in America. If you watch these videos back to back.. You begin to see truth's you would NEVER see on live television. If Youtube never changes your view on anything you aren't watching the right videos. Besides.. There are plenty of places besides Youtube I'm sure he looked at. So this is a cheap shot man. Ron Paul doesn't flip flop. Why allow it?

Better reason for them to be in the debates.

of course they won't Why should they? Barr polls lower than Ralph Nader and won't make an impact in the general election.

Bob Barr may have indeed rethought his stances and moved away from the neo-conservative position he has held for more than 20 years. That doesn't mean he is going to be a good candidate or that he was a wise choice for the Libertarians. Let him sweat it out for another few years and prove his stance instead. In the meantime, I fear the Libertarians may have selected themselves another looney as candidate. Badnarik was a joke 4 years ago and Barr is questionable at best.

I am also a pro-choice libertarian, as in the 1994 consistent Libertarian Party platform... I also agree with Ayn Rand. Barr also quotes Ayn Rand when he owns McCain on energy policy... HILARIOUS... LOOK FOR IT ON YOUTUBE... McCain will NEVER debate Barr... LOL (and neither will Obama)

I agree. You are exactly right frionelhero! I didn't support Barr at the LP Convention because of his (prior) opposition to jury rights, but even since then, he has learned a lot. Also, his opposition to McCain (and criticism of McCain's stupid energy plan that requires American boys' blood) is great. McCain is afraid of debating Barr like Superman is afraid of Kryptonite. Hilarious...

i actually just decided im voting Bob Barr of the Libertarian Party instead after reading an article Baldwin wrote entitled "Christian Right Just Doesn't Get It." In the 2nd paragraph he says, "We are pro-life; we stand for marriage as God defined it, we believe children should have the right to pray in school." He's too much of a theocrat for me. Im pro-choice and I support ALL individual rights including gays. SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE! I guess I'm more libertarian than conservative.

to somehow put there "libertarinism" on a scale like that is folly...especially giving Barr a 3. Where does that put Obama or McCain? Barr is continually more and more libertarian every time I hear him speak.
