The clarity of his playing at that speed is unreal. Although i dont really connect with this too much i think notes start to lose meaning at 150 miles an hour, clearly a tallentd musician and probably better melodically then ill ever be but just can't seem to connect

This guy is amazing!
Although I must say, it's not right to compare Joe Pass with JP Wayne. They have different tastes, somehow similar but not the same. Joe always wanted things simple (yes, i know, but that's what he says), and he doesn't intend to emulate the bass, or the percussive instruments. It's nothing like JP Wayne's technique. I believe Joe has a style of his own, just bringing out the right notes.
Comparing JP Wayne to Tuck Andress or Tommy Emmanuel would be more appropriate.

Hey yes, he was at the French Sanary Jazz Festival on the 22nd of July and I came from the UK to see him live performing in Duet with former John Mclaughlin's Drummer and there is no word to qualify what I saw, except that he is really the greatest ever and an Alien to play like that. I also saw him with the same Drummer at The International Jazz Guitar Festival near Cannes in August. I will be able to put a song on Youtube soon.

Well, you've missed dooms day. But dont worry since there is another guy from the States who really got upset cos he saw that JP Wayne has performed in Kansas City in July but a week after his performence. But I do have some videos...I'll upload them.
