Of course you don't see Gallup. This was the Top era where Phil Thornalley stepped in to replace him. Damned good lineup too. Great rhythm section between him and Andy Anderson.

how can anyone say they played too fast?! That was a flat out f!@ckng primal performance. I can't believe how much noise they made. The transformation of Robert I think often obscures the fact that he is a fucking epic musician, and great guitar player. I'm so happy to see this video....I never knew (but I had a clue!)

The Cure borrowed liberally from Joy Division.
It really shows with the transition from 3 imaginary to 17 seconds, up to Pornography.
They became a new beast with the Top. I think Rob got more comfortable with his own style on that "solo" album...
