Any ideas on what to do with the huge bowl of chocolate sauce I now have in my fridge?

  • I like how you have all the ingredients pre-prepared in bowls. It's like Blue Peter.

  • @KatieAtLarge hells yeah!! And you have Blue Peter in Canada???

  • Yeah, I'm just wondering, does it matter if you use white sugar, or does it need to be brown sugar? :)

  • @TheCakeIsAPieLOLOL I don't think it matters. I've made it with caster sugar before : ) Enjoy! : P It is seriously tasty!

  • Was that brown sugar or raw sugar you used?

  • @TalkingFoxGoddess I think it was demerara sugar. Which is basically brown sugar. But I think you can use any kind : )

  • @TeddyBearWithSexHair it's like maple syrup but with a more honey-ish taste, you put it on pancakes and waffles and such :)

  • .... i'm gonna pull the crazy yank card and ask what golden syrup is.

    Is it honey?.... or what?

  • Who needs Nigella Lawson when you got hannahgirasol?

  • You are adorable <3 and you really do look like Emma Watson!

  • @TheCoryKid

Hi if you're in the US I think they call it Corn syrup. It's a pale treacle. Put it into google and it will tell you the various names and where to get in your Country in Wikipedia. If you can get the original golden syrup you should try it on toast - yummy - great in all sorts of cooking too.

  • cocoa, butter, milk and sugar in a pan? basically melted chocolate then. awesome!

  • @AnnaDeeDee ok mabey i will and if i am doing that i might as well have a strange food binge and include the obvious fish custard as it has been something i have been wanting to try for a while :3

  • @hannahgirasol Haha, no, we don't, but I was born in the UK and have spent enough time over there to be very familiar with Blue Peter. It's classic :D
