Marcus comes in and tries to revive Steve. He can't. Kayla lays down with Steve's body. (Heartbreaking) Kayla goes to the roof of the loft and has memories of her life with Steve as "Goodbye My Friend" plays. Marcus joins her on the roof and they silently mourn Steve.
so sad :(

booh hooed til I couldnt breath thru my nose. I ccried like a dman baby! I remember this. I have it on VHS and will enver erase it. It was so touching, a fitting goodbye to such a great love!

Omg I was the same age, this was so sad I cried my eyes out then had to go to school depressed the next day. lol

I cry everytime I see this clip because this really broke my heart. I'm just elated that Steve wasn't really dead and that even though it took 16 long years he and Kayla were finally reunited and got their happily ever after together. The song just kills me.

Yes thank goodness Steve and Kayla are finally back on Days cause the show just hasn't been the same without the magic they bring.
