An R44 tries to sound like an R1, while accelerating. If you know anything about the R1, or you have been on a nostalgia train, then you know what I am referring to when I mention the acceleration hum that the R1 makes. Anyway, this R44 sorta sounds like one. In either case, we are on the A train, and we are leaving 14th Street, and pacing a C train. We are neck-a-neck from the get-go until the C train stops at 23rd Street, whereas we continue to 34th Street, Penn Station. The C train has 4 R38s and 4 R32s intermixed. When we arrive at 34th Street, there is a downtown A train pulling into the station with R32s. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on April 25th, 2008.
