The buttons u should be using are below:
( Square + Circle )
Begin with a standard forward jump or backflip, press Roll on takeoff and Lara will turn in the air to land facing the opposite direction. (NOTE: Jump + Roll alone is useful for changing direction while sliding down a slope.)

i press the forward and back button at the same time to back flip,then press circle but i dont turn around although when i press circle to roll on ground it works.

on luds gate ,secret 2,cannot twist in mid air,i can back flip but dont know the controls for twisting.i tried the roll button which is circle in mid air but that does not work.
