lol. the man is right.. Indian people sound like farmers when they speak Urdu. their Hindi is just a basterdized version of Urdu. they can't pronounce 'خ' and 'ق' and 'غ' and their pronounciation just makes them sound like illiterate people.
the guy sitting next to him seems ignorant/stubborn and just plain idiotic. i agree with the commenter below that john shows great patience with him lol.
I like Urdu language, and really liked the focus on the Urdu language, but during this Q&A, in the beginning atleast, the conversation seemed to turn into a comparison between Urdu and Hindi. Naturally we all have some gripes about why Indians use Urdu in their films and call it Hindi, but if we research it ourselves and try to learn Hindi in our Universities in Pakistan, it can help us alot in understanding this gap between Urdu and Hindi and understand India a little better.
This guy is amazing. Most amongst us cant speak a full sentence without using English words. I also admire his patience with the host who just cant fathom that hindi and urdu are languages with a common origin.
