@GasserGlass Im learning this to. Its way easier to just start the dash from scratch. Thankfully I dirve a Dodge Durango and the dash comes off in sections. Top, Driver, then panels below those. A dash that comes out as one big piece like yours is going to be a pain in the ass.

@What8Really ....If you can get the fleece to stick to the metal frame of the dash then it will work..No Doubt!...Be sure to wrap the fleece over any edges and maybe even run screws through the fleece and into the metal dash frame...wont go anywhere then!....then build from there.

However I like your thinking or design

fiberglass WILL NOT stay stuck to your vinyl dash upholstery

@GasserGlass Yeah... found that out the hard way, but now I know. I ended up changing plan. I'm going with the dash out of a '96 Ranger.

@What8Really ...Wish I could have given you a heads up before then...HOWEVER, I'm sad that your Not doing a Glass Dash just the same... Hoped you would rip out the old dash & make one from scratch... You young guns/guys are the future that us Old guys paved the path for... Keep Up The Custom Work no mater what direction...Thanks for your reply...Go Fast Fiberglass

@GasserGlass Well I would like to cover the new dash with fibreglass to be able to change the colour and blend that added pieces in. However I don't want to make the same mistake. I was thinking of taking all the vinyl off and gluing some fleece to it and then cover it in resin. think that would work.
Also Thanks for the confidence!
