@desolate2 I saw this ad when I was in seventh grade. I'm now a junior in college, so that was let's see... eight years ago? And to this day everyone in my family remembers this ad. Effective? I say yes.
About four years after this ad came out we had a groundhog move into our backyard; we named him Quizno in honor of these mangy fellers.

I had never eaten, or payed any mind to for that matter, to Quiznos before this commercial. After I saw it the first time, I decided I had to try it. It's overpriced and nothing special, but this remains the most brilliant ad campaign ever. What better way to market food than to use rodents?
