Take it easy, Kyoushiro.. they just relocate the hyenas to a safer place (a safe location for both the hyena and the military personnel), they don't harm them in any way. And the method they used to capture him isn't cruel either, I dunno if you ever watch Animal Planet or Animal Cops on the channel or whatever but they use those handheld devices to remove lots of animals, and it doesn't harm them at all.

Seeing as that was the only way they could do it without getting someone's hand bit off- they did pretty damn well. They weren't doing anything but trying to get it off base- PLEASE get a brain sometime soon.

in my opinion this the worst animal on earth because it starts to take bites out if its pray while its alive ive seen it on tv one it is terrible,
At least lions and leopards tigers they suffocate there pray killing it completely before they eat it it much more gracefull

well a hyena needs to eat. and something needs to die for any meat to be served, why not fresh.

I saw one a few months ago. I thought it couldn't be a hyena but then I found that they do live in Iraq. It's a scary beast! I've seen jackals and desert foxes too but these things are much scarier.

This hyena was caught on base and its regulation that the "vector control" goes and captures them and takes them off base. They are a hazard to personel and often carry deseases ( ie.Rabies). Also they come on base and eat the garbage from the chow halls and become dependent on our occupation if we allow this the young wont learn to hunt for themselves. 75mistakes, cat of hell, and in rainbows140 id like to see any of you go out and capture one let alone even set foot in Iraq, your all weak.
