soraya cried many times in the end of the telenovela when they were inside the cottage, since she was insane. she laughed and cried all the time and passed from laughing to crying in short seconds, just like a crazy woman.
the part in which you said soraya shouted calixta's name, she said "nana, nana, nanita calixta!! it's her fault (pointing to maria), it's maria la del barrio's fault for i killed you!!".

esperanza slapped soraya cuz she was tired being treated like rubbish by her.
so that's why esperanza loses her fears for soraya and now she's not afraid of disobeying her. she considers the most important thing is protecting alicia.
