Here's a response video to American Supercars Dominate video.

Truth, SSC Aero is the fastest production car currently today beating out the Veyron with its 256mph but nobody really cares don't they?. There's so much more to Supercars than just performance alone, its all about the experience, the design, the quality and orginitality. Most people don't know what the Dauer Lemans is or what it can do performance wise and at only 730hp and a topspeed of 250mph back in 1994.

American's build great cars and our bread winners are the Muscle cars when it comes down to performance like the Cobra's, Camaro's and Mustang's. American has the Corvette and the Viper, FordGT40(GT) to be proud however they shouldn't be called Supercars because they have an identity.

Saying American Supercars Dominate European exotics is like me saying American Tunercars dominate the Japanese Tunercars or Australian Holdens dominate American Muscle cars thats just wrong in so many ways. Just because they might be faster doesn't mean they dominate.

  • @vfIskullangel: Okay, you lost me when you say the Ford GT is more of a muscle car than a Supercar. Because now I'm starting to think you don't know the difference between the two. A Saleen S7 is a wannabe McLaren F1. That statement there make me think you are bias. And as for as the Tuatara, its not a wild card. The Tuatara is passed concept form. People are already paying SSC for their car. The car is gonna happen.

  • @V8Supercar1 The thing is about these Supercars is they do indeed rival the price of the European cars. Example the Ford GT ended up doubling price during its production run. It went from less than a 150k(Good price) and spiked beyond 350k in some cases. The Saleen started above a Murcielago in price and yet it was no were near the same level in quality and in looks. The Tuatara is a wild card. it may or may not happen.

  • @V8Supercar1 The Ford GT is a good example but its more of a Muscle car than a Supercar. the Saleen on the other hand is a poor example in which why I made this video, cause its a wanna be Mclaren F1. Then SSC went from Kitcars to Supercars which is a horrible transition to be honest. You'll always get lack of respect that way and the sad part is the Ultimate Aero will always look like a wanna be Lamborghini Diablo regardless.

  • @vfIskullangel: 2nd reply continued...: Now without any question over the years Europe has made more supercars. But we have good examples of supercars when we want to build a car without too much worry about the final price tag. And thats the Ford GT, Saleen S7 and the up coming SSC Tuatara, which is gonna be a fine example of what happens when an American manufacturer builds a supercar without worrying about the price of it.

  • @vfIskullangel: 1st reply: In response to your video. And in no way am I saying us americans have clearly made the best cars over the years. But you left out two real true american supercars. One was the Ford GT, and the other was the Saleen S7. The Saleen S7 is arguably our first supercar considering the fact that it came out before the Ford GT did. Yes. SSC used to make Lambo replica cars. But they are a small company who had to start somewhere. Now look how SSC is evolving. to be continued..

  • @DualofChaos Hmm lets see the GT40 of 1969, The Ford Cobra of the 60's then the Vector of the early 80's was the first true attempt at european made supercars which it came close but fell short because of investors and really who puts a modified Corvette engine into a Supercar? Then The Viper of the 90's. Then The Saleen S7 of the 2000's and now SSC. Lamborghini has been a money maker for Audi. in its earlier years it was a financial cancer but things have turned around since then....

  • @vfIskullangel When did america enter the supercar arena? GM has never made a supercar, only sports cars. Ford tried and failed with the Ford GT but thats it. Dodge had the successful Viper. Lamborghini is not profitable at all the sell fewer than 1000 cars a year and it costs millions to keep them updated. Ferrari does make profit but barely. Most supercar companies are only around because bigger average companies keep them alive. VW is a good example. Without VW lamborghini would be dead.

  • @DualofChaos You have to understand that America did get into the Supercar scene and failed greatly at doing so. Also Lamborghini and Ferrari have been serious money makers for their parent companies so don't say they aren't unprofitable because they are. have a nice day sir.

  • You have to understand that america never really got into the whole supercar thing. They are highly unprofitable and really just for show. VW loses million of dollars for every Bugatti they build. Sure we may not have the passion to build supercars, but we have the brains not to waste money on unprofitable cars. That's why the Euro is going to be gone soon but the dollar will be here forever.

    Have a nice day.
