People have already found that part out. It's been done for hundreds of years. But this, is revolutionary, because it incorporates technology as well as biology.
How does it stay heated? Or is it designed for warm/tropical conditions only? I think it's an awesome idea. I wonder if genetics will make it possible to grow houses in any shape/size we want them in.
This is a fabulous idea!!! 1 question though.. what would the impact of some type of tree disease (such as the Pine Beetle infestation that is occurring in British Columbia) have on this type of community? Would the house 'die' if the tree that was the base structure die? What can be done to prevent some sort of natural occurrence from destroying the home?
