une voix magnifique , j'aime la Russie

I think it will be right to wright^^ a romance. Тhe words are of Lermontov and music of Adelaida Shashina (Аделаида Шашина).

Please, write here the original russian name of this song. Thank you.

An incomparable artist! Never have I heard a basso profundo with the ability to produce such magnificent diminuendi and pianissimi as this exquisitely talented artist. I do NOT know Russian, but the language is immaterial; Shtokolov's extraordinarily evocative voice expresses all. The most touching, moving voice I ever been privileged to hear. Thank you for this treat!

Gra Gra GK, my Polish is inadequate so I may be mistaken but I assume that the interpretation by Anna German was mentioned alongside this one. German was truly great but this is Lermontov himself speaking. The biographers of the sublimely gifted poet consider this poem as containing the very essence of his legacy, his ultimate message to the world. Shtokolov is the unique messenger.

@MusashiTzu you know you can edit it right? Boris Shtokolov has me in tears over 3 of his songs. He's amazing, just amazing...

Imagine this voice in Verdi....Terrible to think that Shtokolov was denied full recognition across the world.
Miraculous voices like this deserve gratitude for their very existence.
