I always felt the Freelander was a marketing mistake. Quite agile off roading, but no one took them seriously here. A 'baby' Land Rover was not status. The last redesign was quite pleasing on the eye however. I loved the pic you took of that Jeep in Liverpool. It's a sign, buy one!

If you convert that 80 thousand dollars to Caadian money,
it will buy a fine home in rural Saskatchewan or New Brunswick with acreage! I'll stick with my ancient Plymouth, but it's nice to dream... Wouldn't you be scared of taking that off-road and getting it dirty? :)

I always think that if anyone had the money to truly afford one, they'd also have the money to not worry if it's scratched, hit or stolen. Lease another, buy another.
