@Goth3m3 That's funny because I actually prefer the sound of basswood to mahogany. mahogany sounds really good with medium gain but it gets mushy when you push the limits of your amp IMO. To each is own.

They make an RGD 7 string! And with that kind of scale length it demands further down tuning than D standard. Just crazy. I dunno if it's for me but it does its job extremely well I think.
