You just witnessed Scotty manhandling the Ibanez Prestige RGD2120Z, a fresh update to the classic Ibanez RG lineup. The Ibanez Prestige RGD series are designed for dropped tunings, with a longer 26.5" inch scale length for chunkier low-end, and custom V7 and V8 full-range pickups to deliver these subsonic frequencies to your amplifier. Ibanez is legendary for it's thin, fast Wizard necks, and the new Prestige Wizard HP continues that
tradition. The Wizard HP features a nearly 17-inch radius to assist with alternate-picked runs up the fretboard, and the KTS Titanium reinforcement results in a neck that's both lighter and stronger than anything that came
before. The Ibanez Prestige RGD2120Z 's Basswood body is tailored for players that like to wear their guitar slung low, featuring deeper sculpting on the lower horn for full upper-register access. Of course tuning stability is crucial, and Ibanez's Edge Zero trem will keep you in tune through the most vicious vibrato action. It's ZPs3 system guarantees that the bridge returns to it's zero point no matter how mighty your divebombs are. And like all Prestige RD series guitars, the Ibanez Prestige RGD2120Z is built in Japan by Ibanez's elite Team J-Craft. - http://proguitarshop.com/store/guitars-ibanez-guitars-c-1_28/ibanez-prestige-...

  • Do you film these in Portland Oregon or California?

  • @NOodleFISH72 - We are based in Portland, Oregon and all videos are done there. Thanks for watching!

  • @Goth3m3 That's funny because I actually prefer the sound of basswood to mahogany. mahogany sounds really good with medium gain but it gets mushy when you push the limits of your amp IMO. To each is own.

  • i'm buying this fucking guitar. a-fucking-sap.

  • They make an RGD 7 string! And with that kind of scale length it demands further down tuning than D standard. Just crazy. I dunno if it's for me but it does its job extremely well I think.

  • Who makes the V7 and V8 pickups????

  • @codismyBxTCH most Ibanez guitars have bolt on necks. If you didn't know that, idk why you bothered looking into this guitar in the first place.

  • What amp are you using ? Great sound !

  • @jfacray182 he's tuned down a full step. all of em come from the factory like that.

  • This guy has the most interesting picking hand I've ever seen

  • Man, even Andy lowered his voice for this demo! hahahaha

  • @codismyBxTCH Whats wrong with bolt on necks?

  • @codismyBxTCH They feel great actually.

  • I was very interested. Until I saw the bolt on neck
