I grew up in a house opposite in the 60's, and 70's. The guest house then was run by a woman called Jessie who used to park her pink E Type outside our house. A lot of the acts appearing at the nearby Club Fiesta used to stay there, and my sister and I took it in turns to go across and get their autographs. I've still got the book full of them, and remember Joe Brown keeping us awake one night, playing at a party next door. Happy days.
