Housebroken

My second short film.

A girl gets into a car accident and wakes up captive in someone's basement. After she escapes and runs into her captors she finds out why she was taken in the first place...

lots of technical problems, bad audio, a few scenes had to get cut out... I plan on coming back and re-doing this film completely and adding an abduction scene in the beginning. I think that if I approach it better and execute it properly next time, this can be a really cool film.

@HorseLover5540 Well, HorseLover, the collar was padlocked. I know not much was clear but the film was only allowed to be five minutes long, plus I did a bad job making it to begin with. It could have been much, much better.

Basically she woke up, untied herself and ran, not knowing she was even chained to the wall. When she was on the ground, she noticed the key to the collar around her neck. Not very clear, I know, but I will do better next time. : )

@lmdao1 I have one. I highly recommend it. Just don't go grabbing them off the street like they do in this film. Find one that willingly enters the cage.

It's not like you just wanted to insult my hard work that I put together my very first year as a film student. @kyoshiromib I agree, kyoshiromib. And beaten into submission before left to her own devices. But we wouldn't have much of a film if she didn't escape, right? Not that it was much of a film to begin with, but at least the plot consists of more than a girl struggling at her ropes for five minutes.

@JillieStarBean The little girl notices her pet has escaped and asks her where she's going. The kidnapped girl starts to run away and the little girl tells her "my last pet ran away and daddy had to put her to sleep for being a bad girl. You're not a bad girl, are you?" That's when the hostage realizes the little girl is fucked up and tries to run the other way, right in to daddy. It was confusing, I know, but we tried! It was cold and late, we kind of rushed it at the end.

I would have tied her up better too, but then it would have been a five minute film about someone laying there in the basement doing nothing. My professor would have frowned on that...
