@143Chippy Edward just needs to practice more and quit worrying about who's making his guitars for him. What does that matter if you don't even practice. He's got a great guitar but that doesn't make him play better. It isn't natural to be as good as he was, or Satch or Vai. You don't get that good without hours and hours of intense practice, you gotta practice your butt off. If you stop practicing you WILL lose it. This is what's happening with Edward.

OMG! This is horrid! Satriani, Morse, Vai, Eric Johnson are all the same age as him and they keep pushing themselves to get better and better. Why can't Edward?

@143Chippy Most fans may remember their favorite performer's last show(s). They will reminisce most about their performer's peak era and choose to remember and think about those performances even more. That usually seems to be the case. I'm sure most Les Paul fans don't think about Les Paul's performances at 93 as much as they do with his performances at 39. Clapton, people still think he's great. They admire his work over the years and his playing. Yet he's past his past his peak as well.

@143Chippy I've been saying as much. But wank is really all his fans want to hear from him, no matter how dismal, and Eds doing a money grab.
If and when Ed decides to tour with Dave its gonna be more of the same - a half-assed Best Of gig. I'd like Ed to sing about the ups and downs he gone thru over the last years. not straight blues, or so, but something introspective.

He is ruining his reputation as a great guitar player with these UGLY performances , Your only as good as your last show, If he continues these ugly performances this is how he will be remembered unfortunately. Its time to retire Eddie.
