@ACLZBS70 back in those days he didnt use any sort of overdrive or fuzz it was just the natural distortion that you got when you cranked the volume on a massive tube amp back then

what John used at the Isle Of Wright he used:
three Hiwatt CP103 100-watt amps or Two Hiwatt DR201 200-watt amps and one customized Hiwatt DR103 100-watt amp.
Two Hiwatt SE4151 4x15 cabinets and two Hiwatt SE4123 4x12 cabinets.
idk if he used fuzz,EQ' or Overdrive.
