6/26/09 This run was against a friend's hard charging 347 Automatic 66' Mustang. His times were off a little as he ran an 11.59--he has done 11.39's in the past. My .028 RT was right on to his .027 and we were fender to fender to the top of the track.

I ran an 11.47 with full street exhaust. I just removed the street tires, slapped on the slicks and went racing. Car has a 393w, toploader 4 speed, 4.11 rear with 26/10/15" slicks.

  • Most of us use AFR's, and mine are the 205's. Stick cars are exciting to race and I wouldn't have it any other way.

  • What altitude is your track?

  • 640ft.

  • You gotta love the early Stangs for their light weight. So what heads are you guys using? Nice to see that some guys still use the 4 speed. That's what used to make drag racing fun.
