The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers 1992 Game Intro

NOTE: This is from the early 90's, and therefore do not make assumptions about comparing this to the 2001-2003 movie version. While I admit the films from Peter Jackson were pretty good, this game cutscene used assumed appearances from the book.

This was from Interplay, installed on a hard drive through three floppy disks, copied via an iOmega 100MB Zip Drive, and recorded in DOSBox 0.73.

Although you do not need to have read the second book or watched any of the film iterations to understand the game, you may need to peek on a little bit, because there are scenes not covered in the movies (take the Blue Wizards) and some character interactions say "read this chapter and page of the book."

All in all, this simplifies the objective of the story and sums up some of "The Fellowship of the Ring" in a few minutes.

I love this game. The hobbits here are way more badass than the EA ones. Full of bravery and grit. I love it.
