I think you just solved my whole pull off dilemma. I've been having problems with getting the pull off note to sound louder, it would always sound like it's 50% lower in volume than the first note. Never would have thought of pushing the string downward like that.

Hello sir,
I am able to play with alternate picking the same speed as you played. And i can do even faster than that. But when it comes to pull off i really am bad at that. I never played pull off's never did i practise. I find it difficult to apply pressure and leave in order to make the pull off successful.
I just have a question that how much time does it take to be comfortable with itcoz i wanna focus on legato techniques soon.

I used a Mack Heatseker 18 tube amp and a Cool Cat Distortion pedal.

Thanks! Yes, it is a Suhr Classic, got it a few months ago. Fantastic instrument - I'm super happy with it.
