He's a cowboy, he's a caveman, he's a spaceman, he's a spy, he's going to Mardi Gras, he wins, he do this first time. One of the first professional gymnastics competitions.

The sound is a bit out of sync on the origonal tape.

  • Thanks for this video! Do you have Bilozerchev's performances? I'd like to see them.

  • I have the whole show but don't feel like putting the whole thing up, and I don't own it.

  • ROFL, this is pretty cool. but is it supposed to be like the tour of gymnastics superstars kinda thing?

  • Yup, to my knowledge this was one of the very first events of its time.

  • I think it is more like the Resse's Cup.

  • As far as I can tell this became the Reeses Cup but this was the first of these events in 1993.

  • I'm guessing this is the competition Valeri entered to help him and Yevgeny get the money to start up WOGA?

  • There was no vault at this for either men or women.

  • he works there with him now yes, in 1993 they did not have WOGA yet!

  • So that's where Nastia gets her artistry and presentation from!

  • wha? i though Yevgeny was just a friend, doesnt he work alongside valeri at woga now?

  • what about vault?

  • I wonder what Nastia thought when she(if he even let her) saw this! Ahahahaha, wow. That was a little creepy at first, but I totally loved it. Who would have thought Valeri had a funny side like THIS?

  • I miss professional gymnastics competitions/random gymnastics exhibitions. Same goes for figure skating. I totally agree with your sentiment - it helps with the creative/artistic/performance side of both sports.
