This two part video, which was created by long-time return guest Justin Ayre, shows just how hard you can score in the "off" season in the Mentawais if you have the right guide and crew. This trip was in late November, 2007, and you can see Justin's gang definitely put guru guide Chris "Scuzz" Scurrah's wave finding expertise to good use.
Part two of the video is here:

And if the music seems ghey, blame YouTube. I did the best I could with their AWESOME selection of replacement music.
Hi, I notice alot of those rights from the peak are empty, is it an inconsistent spot, or does it swing wide alot so people sit on the second section? Sometimes looking into from the shoulder, un make-able sections look perfect, is that the case there?

You'll have to go on a trip to find out. ;-)

Hi love your video. But where are the other originals of the good sumatrian team? The guy who started this long time ago? I forgot his name. Starts with a letter e or something?

Hi. We're Sumatran Surfariis, not Good Sumatran. Good Sumatran isn't around any more, but I believe several of the guys have started their own side projects. Don't know all their names, though. Sorry!
