One memorable song for me because our class performed a dance number to the tune of this song during our school foundation day back in the 50s. Wish my classmates could see this. Under the tune of "Valencia", Rosita de la Vega cleverly sung this novelty number. LUNETA was considered the center of weekend activities then, as it is now. They just renamed it RIZAL PARK.

The guys shouting at the background sound so funny- very typical..and coloquially. "fromdi" or "baduy" .

This song takes me back to my grade school days in the mid-fifties when we were chasing fly-away kites along Manuguit St. (now Jose Abad Santos Ave.), the boundary between the districts of Tondo and Santa Cruz in Manila. Ah! those carefree days are back, if only in my mind! Thanks!
