  • Cate doesnt even reside in australia so she will never pay an ausrtalian carbon tax.

the best way to keep the turbines spining is with magnetics. but no big industy wants us to know. beacuse its free forever

  • It shouldnt matter if your the poorest person in Australia or the richest, you should still get a say

  • Robtheleatherman said on another video "fuck America". I agree with Rob, fuck American and their Al Gore & the carbon gangster scumbags from Wall St that want to stuff their pockets with carbon credit trading & carbon taxes on us. Looking at Al Gore's gigantic carbon footprint & lavish lifestyle, perhaps he knows something we aren't supposed to?

  • @radiantcold

Co2 is not I repeat NOT a polluntant. Co2 is about 0.038% and does in no way cause any harm to the planet. Of that nature produces 97%. Look mate you are being duped. Get away from you guilt complex you are being fooled. There is no problem have a beer and celebrate or concentrate on a real issue. This is a NON issue. The government only wants to implement a tax that will do NOTHING for the environment.

  • @Fattboy26

A broader definition of pollutant is a substance that causes instability or discomfort to an ecosystem. In the past 10000 years, the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has remained relatively stable. However, human CO2 emissions in that last 100 years have upset this balance. The increase in CO2 has some direct effects on the environment. Eg, as the oceans absorb CO2, which leads to acidification of marine ecosystems. However, the chief impact from rising CO2 is warmer temperatures.

  • @Fattboy26

The CO2 that nature emits is balanced by natural absorptions by the ocean and vegetation. Human emissions upset the natural balance and are causing the accumulation of CO2 in our atmosphere, since not all of our emmisions are absorbed by nature. CO2 concentrations have already risen to levels not seen in at least 800,000 years.

All the revenue raised will go to households, industry and supporting the programs for tackling climate change.

  • @5151holmes

Some global warming 'skeptics' argue that the Earth's climate sensitivity is so low that a doubling of atmospheric CO2 will result in a surface temperature change on the order of 1°C or less, and that therefore global warming is nothing to worry about. However, values this low are inconsistent with numerous studies using a wide variety of methods, including (i) paleoclimate data, (ii) recent empirical data, and (iii) generally accepted climate models.

  • @radiantcold

Mate Co2 is about 0.038% of the atmosphere. We need it to survive. Of that nature produces 97% of Co human create 3%. The amount is so insignificant. This is merely an excuse for a new tax nothing more. Wake up you are being fooled.
