http://bit.ly/9d62Qx Michael Laitman explains that the wisdom of Kabbalah says that besides Man there is no other purpose for the upper force in the World, and only Man needs to reach the Godly level. Therefore, Man is the central point of creation, and from there we need to reach the recognition of not only this World, but all the Worlds. He says maybe there is other living forms, but discovering or knowing this does not help us to attain the reason for our existence,

this point of view is somehow insulting to the man and to the rest of the universe.

man has not reached his spiritual capacity whereas other beings that may exist may be more spiritual and maybe even connected to the creator so possibly we should raise to connect to the light of the creator and i think it is interesting what the rav does not say more than what he does say here.

Been to Olam Haba lately? More like Ein Sof Olamim Haba! Ein Sof is continually constructing new realities out of His own light, in order to see His own face, to grow more perfect. Adam Kadmon seeded an infinity of worlds with life, which the Shechinah continuously guards, there are an absolute infinity of other races like ourselves, all whom have souls, who are on a journey throughout many, many lives to evolve and ascend into the higher echelons of Ein Sof, wake up my friend!

His reasoning is just as absurd as believing after looking at one grain of sand that microbial life exists only on that one grain of sand and no others. Perhaps he dropped his microscope and broke the irreplaceable lens so that he can no longer examine another grain of sand. He thus concludes that microbial life exists only on that one grain of sand since he never saw it on any others. Illogical.

@DominionAngel I agree with you. That seems to be a more inclusive perspective on the universe.

i love kabbalah, but OY VEY what a MISDIRECTED, MOST INCORRECT,EGOCENTRIC, BLATANT MISINTERPRETATION and UNDERSTANDING of it in terms of ET's and humankind upon the earth. SHAME ON YOU! take off your veil of darkness so that you can see, hear, and understand the Creator's Truth. and PLEASE STOP telling people what to think and believe.
