  • There is no way that was an IS350. Mine is stock and runs 13.6s in the hottest of of summer days.

  • @jbayse99

you never ran at LACR. it's not uncommon to run a full second slower there compared to other tracks.

  • BMW makes excellent and reliable cars by the way.

  • This is regarding your comment over 2 years ago. The 2008 E92 M3 engine produced for the population to drive may hold up quite well against the 2UR-GSE Lexus IS-F engine. Lexus is claimed to "not being itself". Otherwise why would their horsepower be alike? Anymore competition will see BMW Corporation "easily" beef up 500 HP 6.0L M3. While Lexus is even struggling to build an automobile working with the good ol' U.S. of A. Thats because they want to. But thats my opinion.

4.6 vs 4.2 in 0-60mph is HUGE -- almost a half a second! it's generally accepted that for every tenth you can shed from your 1/8th mile time it will be much more in the 1/4 mile and 0-60mph takes place well before the 1/8th mile is even over.

as for drivers beating drivers of faster cars...look at my other videos and you'll see me beat a brand new M3 at the strip. believe me, the new M3 is way faster than my car. sometimes driver can mean everything.

  • @jworms From what I know, the fastest anyone's done in a stock IS350 is 4.6s, and 4.2s for the ISF (0-100). That's pretty close....of course certain factors cannot be accounted for (such as climate, driver, etc.). There's been many cases of IS350 beating IS-F in drags.

  • @12eb3L

not saying you're wrong (i haven't looked into it), but assuming decent drivers in both cars, the performance of the first two gears isn't too relevant over the course of a 1/4 mile run if the back half heavily favors the IS-F.

for what it's worth, looking at the 1/8th mile results of both the IS350 and the IS-F, there is a pretty huge difference in performance (up to half a second in ET and up to 6mph of trap speed difference -- that's huge for the 1/8th!).

  • @jworms the is350 is faster than isf from gears 1-2, and can be just as fast from 0-60mph run. above that is when the F shine.

  • 0:54 is it a Civic?

  • @jworms Come on man the dude is obviously talking about the E46 model, give em a break lol
