We raise sheep, and love our babies, we TOTALLY CAN'T eat lamb OR sheep!

@mousiez i have my own flock of hand reared sheep, (only about 20) and i'd still gladly sell or kill anyof them, its part of what farmers do (i work for my dad who own 1100 sheep and 100 cattle)

we have 2 lambs about 1 week old mothers couldn't have them 1 was even reanimated but now they are fine :)

we have 6 sheep and one ram and 2 babys in right now and they are not ment to be born this time of the year but strange things happen like that, but were not keeping one of them because hes a boy and pluse he is scared like his mother....but were keeping the girl because the mother we just got and she came over pregnet and shes really funny!!!!!! so where keeping her

why do alot of farms take the lambs away from their mums and bottle feed them instead of letting their mother raise them?

Believe me the farms don't want to take the lambs away from their mothers. Sometimes the mother (ewe) rejects the lamb and just doesn't want to know. Or the mother may have no milk or just plain die. Hand rearing a lamb is hard work so farmers will always try to find another mother for orphan lambs ASAP.
