Taken from his last concert performance, Mark Heard plays at Cornerstone 1992 at the Encore Stage. Pierce Pettis does BGV's. Source origination unknown. Believed to be originally recorded in VHS format, hence the sound quality. This is purely put on here for historical purposes and to remember his legacy. He is missed greatly.

  • Sorry if it's a let down. This was put up because of the importance of Mark Heard and his music. It is indeed a copy of a copy originally passed around on VHS. As I recall, there was not much I could do with the audio to tweak it any. Please cut a little slack to an amateur concert video guy. :^)

  • Thanks SO much for sharing this.

  • Could you please fix the audio balance and levels? I am sure this can be done if you're using a decent video editor. Otherwise, it's kind of a let down :/

  • I love this song ,Winds of Time was my first of Marks songs, bought his tape through aChristisn tape club never heard of him, but,he won me over and Bruce Cockburn heard of him after his death when he heard one of his songs. Both are gifted. Love In Christ, Linda Pothiers

  • I was at this show. Great performance. Interesting fun fact. Every Pierce Pettis album since this show has the first song leading off with a Mark Heard tune. I think thats about 6 songs from 6 different albums plus Pierce covers this song on the Heard tribute album as well.

  • Awesome, thanks soooo much for posting this....

  • This is indeed a copy of the VHS from Cornerstone. I don't remember the name of the guy who shot it, but it circulated on the Mark Heard list in the mid 90s.

I had plans to be at this show but got called for jury duty, ack!

  • I paint a self-portrait poorly But I'll sell it to you pretty cheap

    Thank you, Mark!

  • Superb....and great to see him live and with P Pettis

  • amazing, I was at this concert and talked to Mark in the coffee line right before the concert. What an incredible man. Miss him.
