im 14 and i got raped last year and i got pregnant then thank god... i had a miscarriage... and it was by a guy i was 'friends' with and theres videos... i finally told my therapist a week ago... i have a feeling im never gonna forget...

I have 9 members in my immediate family and all 9 of them have been raped. Not 1 of us reported it. Why? Afraid that we wouldn't be believed, ashamed, not wanting to get the individual in trouble, not wanting anyone to know as we didn't want to blame a family member and not willing to deal with the aftermath of telling. Now that I am older, I dearly wish that each and every one had of told what had happened. How many silent victims are there out there??? Please TELL.

To all the rap victims here I am sorry that you have to go through this. Honestly, I heard that rapist are put in a separate prison cell because a lot of inmates want to hurt them, but the truth is that they need to be put in the same cell with all the other prisoners. I know it is hard to get over being raped, but what I can say is that you have to be strong. It is not your fault this happened. Love yourself! Continue to take care of yourself. You have my support. VolParagom, I don't think rapist should be killed, I think they should have their private parts chopped and get raped themselves in prison so that they know what it feels like and know what their victims felt like. Then they need to have their hands chopped off so that they can't kill themselves. How does that sound?

Rapists should be killed. All of them. Rape is worse than murder - When someone is murdered, they don't have to relive their horror every day of their lives. Rape victims do. Rapists are dispicable, evil people who should be dowsed in kerosine and set on fire, have the fire be put out, and let them lie there in their suffering. That should happen to them every day until they starve to death.

I was raped by a Hofstra Law Student on a date in 1987 and it still affects me.

He locked me in his apartment, took out a very sharp letter-opener, and said "So, are you gonna share your body with me or not?"

I had no choice and beleived he was going to kill me. I honestly thought I was about to die.

I often wonder if he ever thinks about what he did to me and if he did it to other women also.
