looks like a good way to stabilize those videos from the portable cams like the flip and zi8. I'll definitely have to come back to this video when I get my camcorder.

did i see that correctly? Maximum correction is keyframe-able? so like if some point in my film, the motion correction is cropping too much, i can just use keyframes to back-off of critical points?

yes, both Max Correct and Smooth % are key frame-able. When I rewatch this tutorial, I've thought about how I should have mentioned that briefly (since it's probably not going to be a very common need), good catch.

i saw another demo, probably with the same plugin, where there was a jerky video of some valley surrounded by mountains. When they stabilized it, the peaks got cut off from too much cropping. Good to know about keyframing the crop level.

I believe you are referring to one of my examples that is posted as a video response. When shooting footage that you plan to later smooth, zoom out a little to give the plugin some room to play.
