definitely not true....two factors are playing into my decision...1 is that it takes a very long time to eat an animal as large as that gator, so in the process of swallowing it, if what you say is true, the gator would have woken up before being completely consumed and not have made it all the way to the stomach.....2nd and probably less fact based, and more COMMON SENSE based, than my first argument, is that imagine you were the gator and you "woke up" in the stomach of something else!!!

I heard that alligators/crocs have a unique emune system for combating bacteria in its environment. This combined with the snakes stomack acids is what caused the snake to explode. Not instantly ofcourse, they both die in the process.

The snake didn't blow up lol...the gator tore out of the snakes stomach...gators getting constricted by a snake are able to slow there heart beat down to 2/3 beats per min, snakes thinks its dead starts to swallow, gator recovers no longer being contricted now half way in the snake...not good for snake
