They've got it for $4.99/six-pack down here (south Louisiana)! Well, the old recipe (1977-2011) is gone.

I re-discovered Schaeffer a few months ago. I find these old brands to be a great example of American style lager and to be very drinkable.

Hey its an American Classic Schlitzs Schaefer Schmidts and my Personal Favorite Rheingold and I wish they still made falstaff.

This has become one of my "go to beers" now, it has flavor and taste and you are right they are very drinkable. I was very happy when we tried this and it turned out to be good,
