    why is there a viewer discretion at the beginning

    I thought the vancouver school board had gay and lesbian acceptance training in high school

  • @garycalgary That's a question that needed to be asked and we're glad you did. We feel very strongly that this video should be seen by as wide an audience as possible. These kinds of documentaries have the ability to really change the way a person thinks about the world.

  • @garycalgary In this case, we were concerned that the video might be flagged as "inappropriate", which would dramatically affect people's ability to see it. The content IS mature in nature, but that means MORE people should see it, not fewer. These issues are important and very real. The "viewer discretion" text at the beginning was our way of hopefully discouraging some viewers who might be inclined to click the "flag" icon.
