This was part of the celebration service for 300 years Dresdner Kapellknaben. Involved choirs: Mainzer Domchor, Dresdner Kreuzchor, Dresdner Kapellknaben

Weißt Du, ich finde der Klang war in dem Video von Orion8352 wesentlich besser, hier klingt es eher inhomogen, aber vielleicht auch nur, weil Orion eine professionelle Aufnahme gepostet hat?!

Hier sind natürlich jede Menge Nebengeräusche drin, da in einem laufenden Gottesdienst gefilmt wurde. Bei der Aufnahme von orion wär ich mir nicht mal sicher, ob das nicht sowieso eine Studioaufnahme ist, die dann mit Bild syncronisiert ist. Die Außenaufnahmen (Dresdner Zwinger) sind mit Sicherheit nicht live, sondern aus dem Studio, weil kein Wind und keine Straßengeräusche zu hören sind.

These celebrations were interesting from a historical perspective. 300 years ago, the leading Lutheran boys choir in Dresden would never have participated in a Catholic service. The majority protestant population of Saxony were quite shocked when August the Strong converted to Catholicism in order to be elected King of Poland! The Dresden chapel choir were founded as the king's personal boys choir.

Ich finde den Kreuzchor unter Koop immer etwas langweilig,weiß nicht warum....

Danke für das interessante Video.

Ich war dieses Jahr in der Hofkirche und beeindruckt auch akustisch allerdings scheint die Akustik nach diesem Video doch recht schwierig zu sein...zumindest für den Zuhörer.
