all of you are wrong! her twitching wasn't caused by hardware malfunction. her twitching came from her emerging self awareness conflicting with her programmed objectives. the programming was trying to regain control. and when riley was dead, cameron was no longer feeling jealous so her self awareness and her programming were able to get along again

I think it is interesting that he asks if she FEELS any different and then if she is all FIXED. I'm probably looking too much into it, but it seems like that is another "slip up" of him thinking of her as more human though he tells everyone he understands she isn't.

She is like Siri on the iPhone 4S.. Sometimes she appears to know things and other times she doesn't. Before when he popped her CPU out of her pretty head she was CERTAIN she was fixed (even while being sandwiched between two trucks). Now after the minor arm repair she doesn't know if she is fixed or not. She is such robot! But would make a great toy, better than Big Trak ever was.

@kellysmash99 ottovw is right. When John told Cameron that he was sorry that he ever doubted her, and when Cameron found out that Riley was dead, her hand was back to normal because she was able to hold a bird again without killing it.

@kellysmash99 It was the part that wanted to terminate Riley. Once Riley was dead she could hold a bird again.

It wasn't that her arm was malfunctioning, it was that the part in her that wants to terminate john was gaining control.
