  • The world does NEED to know that they are doomed.

But fear alone, is not enough. They need also to know the good news [GOSPEL] of the kingdom.

That is what they must truly believe. Even the demons believe already that they're doomed. And American's know that God forgives sins. But who knows victory OVER sin?

The poor and downtrodden need to know the way of life. They already know that they're doomed.

So are you preaching the part that you think is needed, or are you speaking by God's Spirit?

  • What good is it to inform them that they are doomed, yet not proclaim the hope that is in Christ to not only be forgiven, but to live a life being free from sin?!!! "these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone." The gospel part, is the good news part. So, the Biblical way to respond, is to receive the good instruction from that man. Yet, I don't think he was led by God's Spirit to speak against your work. Do as he says, but not as he does.

Were you led by the Spirit?

  • That man should rejoice that the gospel was preached. Philippians 1:18.

  • You did a good job and telling him that what he was really apologizing for was the Gospel... Which means he is ashamed of the Gospel. Paul was not ashamed (Rom 1:16) and neither were you. You did a good job in taking time to listen to him. But in the end he violated his own standard. He was not giving you honey when he publicly denounced you. That was vinegar! I thought he said not to do what he just did? Keep preaching Al!

  • Wow! That was amazing! I have never seen anything like that. Does he not know that "Faith come by hearing"? Great job on being faithful brother. Keep preaching!

  • Keep Preaching Brother Allen! The Name JESUS is what makes people upset because they love Sin and Hate God!

  • I don't think he understands the cross, the cross of Jesus (His death) is the greatest thing, and resurrection. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have hope. So we need to pray for that man.If it's not too late.

  • Actually, I've always liked using Ezekiel 3:18, John 7:7, and Proverbs 17:11.

That guy assumes everyone is teetering on the edge of salvation and desperately seeking God, and one more hug should do the trick. Street preaching is most effective on those who are running away from God and hate Him. That guy's "honey" approach is a joke to wicked sinners.

  • How about, "Get thee behind me Satan"

That guy will let people walk into Hell with a flower in their hand. It is unbiblical to come to salvation for "what's in it for me?" We come to Christ because He alone is worthy, we must repent and throw ourselves at His mercy and grace. That guy sums up in 1 minute what is wrong with the modern church and why most people are false converts.
