Stop-Motion Drums

So, I was setting up my drums like I do every time I play. And decided, what the hell. I'd do a stop-motion video. It's not too fantastic, because I was doing it solo, so running back and forth from the camera before something fell over sometimes got some blurry shots. But, enjoy.

The music is from my band. Sorry for the extra-pictures, it felt weird ending the song early, but didn't want to slow down the frame rate any more (it's already only 5fps).

slightly harder when you're by yourself, and you have to find a way to make a stand go from horizontal to vertical, in more than one step. haha

if anyone has any stop-motion tips for getting heavy-ish objects like that to stand up, i'd love to hear them. :)

thanks :) if i get a new camera sometime, i might try again and make it a little smoother. or better yet, get someone to take pictures of me playing the drums stop-motion.
