It's sort of like a repeat of the 80's glam metal. for every 1 good band that gets a record contract. 5 crappy ones get the same contract and soon it's saturated by overly produced and processed crap. The fans got sick of it and did something to change the industry they were called, Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Green River, The Melvins, Pearl Jam. We don't have fans like that today. They're rather listen to computerized crap rather than actual instruments.

i could not agree with you more. They are giving record contracts to people who don't deserve them. That is why there is such horrible music out there that all sounds the same. I don't know any of the new singers out there and am proud of that. Whatever happened to great bands like The Pixies.Their is an alternative station on satellite radio, but again satellite music is alot for one station.
