niiiice sound when you go to fingers.. i've never been a particular fan of the slap sound on stingrays (sorry to everyone i'll upset with that; just my opinion! i just find it a bit dry tis all) but the finger sound is to DIE for! only better fingers sound i've found is a warwick thumb5 nt thru a SERIOUSLY powerful amp to handle all the power from the thumb lol. so yes, i want a stingray rather badly :D
nice playing too btw! proper pocket with the drums ;) keep it up
@MrRockstart You'd need to get a stingray preamp as well, then you'd need to install the pickup in the bridge position, exactly where a MM has, which means you'd need to remove your current Jazz pickups.
After all that, there's still no guarantee it will sound like a stingray - in fact its probably more likely that it will not sound like a stingray even with the pickup and preamp.
nice man! I love the tone the Sting ray produces but do u know if there is anyway i can just get the pick ups and install them on my Geddy Lee Fender Jazz bass model? Would that work?
@PumpkinDog33 Thanks!!

@NnEnNiiSh stingrays (5 string with single H) are about 800-1100 USD used, 1400-1900 new.
