I remember my dad saying 'as long as the french don't get it I'm happy'. I just wish I was interested in the olympics so I could of celebrated with them. I can't wait now though.

what was the 2 sec early excitment. after roggue said "..city of.." u see a lady w/ her hands in the air and a few shouts of "yeah!" was it just for kicks? or do u think they knew a lil bit ahead of time. small-delayed telecast u think?

Yes, one of the shouts was me! A few of us in the crowd were listening through our radios and we were a couple of seconds ahead of everyone else. The woman went crazy while I waited for the crowd to catch up!
